Heating to long of a time (heater not shutting off)
Unplug the washer and have a look at the heater for damage. A broke heater could be shorting out to the metal cabinet, causing the element to heat constantly. Replace the heater if you find anything that looks burned or broken. Check heater for continuity with a meter.
If the heater is okay, replace the control board because the relay that controls the heater is stuck in the On position.
